I've had this crazy idea for a long time that i could take some really fast jamacian sprinters and turn them into a bobsleigh team

On the other hand, let's see how Kebe gets on doing a 200m dash.

Anyone recall Dayley Thompson's 'flirtation' with RFC many moons ago?

Seem to remember him scoring in a friendly at Elm Park (unless I was hallucinating).

Don't think DT was quite as quick as UB either, although he did seem to have the build of Lenny Henry.

Daley Thompson v REal Sociedad c1995 IIRC. Whatever - he came on for the last 10 mins or so and had a good shot. Did see footage of him scoring a cracking goal at Wembley in some celeb type affair.

I'm sure I saw him score in an away friendly. Farnboro?

1993/94 Pre-season friendly at Leatherhead. HTH. Also on either the "Seasons Greetings" or "Year of the Royals" video compilations.

Bit harsh on Lenny. Remember him at EP trying to do a sketch with the Southbank and he went to the away end by mistake? May have been QPR.

A little harsh. But in those Premier adverts he's lugging a fair bit of 'cakeage' under that untucked shirt, tbf.

Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt I really want to try soccer after I retire from athletics. I am quick and I have skill, I would have to refine it a little but I am definately good enough.

I’ve watched football over the years and I think I could be a good contender,”

IN for the Kebe-esque flying runs down the wing with no end product
