Pepe the Horseman I was thinking Pards, although I'm starting to think that the whole Kinnear situation is a ploy to get the fans behind Pardew.
I'll go Di Canio.

Pepe the Horseman Not sure anyone thought he was the right man for Reading did they? Thought we were unanimous in not wanting him anywhere near the club.

That's nearly a 1/4 of posters on here who, at the least, wouldn't mind him as Reading manager. Dread to think where we might be now if he did join

Might we still be in the Premier League?
He did keep Sunderland up.
Although never a long-term proposition but people like him,Martin Allen,Pardew etc. have been fairly successful in the short term but seem incapable of building and keeping a team onside once the initial spark has gone.
BTW presumably Di Matteo is favourite because most of the players there are Italian.

Mirror Sport can reveal that, as reported yesterday, Di Canio held a training-ground crisis meeting with his players on Sunday in the wake of the 3-0 loss at West Brom that leaves the club bottom and with just one point from five games.
He challenged senior players to ring owner Ellis Short if they wanted him out - and they did.
US tycoon Short acted swiftly and sacked him.
It comes after several players turned on Di Canio in the meeting as he questioned their commitment and performances - shouting him down in scenes of open revolt.
Several players had approached the club's hierarchy via agents and some had gone direct to complain about Di Canio's regime.
They moaned about it being too strict and about his training methods.
One senior player is understood to have received a dressing down for SMILING during a physio session as he battled back to fitness.

Pepe the Horseman Zakly. Not sure where they're gonna go from here. Would be good for us if they take Zola. Wouldn't be shocked to see them go for Lennon.
