As everyone is well aware I'm not a fan of VAR, but got both decisions right in this case.
Only real surprise is that the penalty wasn't given in the first place.

Hoop Blah Lovely to see Steve Bruce making the Toon Army, and a number of his doubters, eat their words by having Newcastle in a pretty decent position.
I'm not sure how it compares to Rafa's league positions at this stage in proceedings but it can't be far off if not better than most of his campaigns, and that's despite them losing some of their better players from recent seasons.
