Just had a quick look at our record after 34 games in 05/06.

We had 83 points to Charlton's current 78.

I hope they do have relaxation mode

Our last 13 games included a loss and about 6 draws. That would see Charlton finish on around 100 - they've got 12 left not 13.

Which bit of 'our record after 34 games' suggests they've got 13 left ?

I think it was the bit where I wasn't paying attention and assumed they'd have played the same number of games as us and then couldn't be arsed to put it right.

Final score - that's another 3 points less they can get.

Unfortunately Charlton really only have one tough game left away to Huddesfield 20/3/12
All others are very winnable
Notts County, Scunthorpe, Yeovil, Leyton Orient, Oldham, Walsall, Carlisle, Wycombe, Preston & Hartlepool.

Let's hope they have started to get complacent or run out of steam.

1 loss and 2 draws should do it.

Colchester at home was very winnable as well...

One of the notable things about the 106 team was how they kept it going even after securing the Chmpionship; 3 wins and 2 draws in the last 5 games after the Derby game, including a 5-2 win away at Cardiff. I wonder whether once they have won Division 1 Charlton's players will demonstrate a similar hunger.

I wish Swindon would just do the right thing and draw - I couldn't stand the thought of sharing the points record with them

Charlton have certainly hit form at a good time. 8)

Just had a quick look at our 2005/06 record after 36 games, to compare to Charlton. We had 86 - they have 78.

What I did notice was that the team in 7th had 53 - 33 points behind with 10 games left.
