On BBC site:

Tezhotdart via text: "As an Arsenal fan I'm bewildered this is unbelievable. Wenger era is over and it can't happen soon enough (before the transfer window closes hopefully). Invincible's 2004 to undeniably woeful 2011 - relegation battle here we come."

Glad to see it's not just Reading fans who grossly overreact.

I am not sure its an overreaction, they have had a horrific start to the season, albiet three hard fixtures but 8-2 is just shocking.

SpaceCruiser So you admit to being one of those fukk-heads who want their team to lose in order to have a change.

No true fan would want their own team to lose.

:|

I dont support Arsenal though.......a lot of my family do (hence my interest) but there is a reason i hang about on a RFC forum

So because one guy makes a comment footballers in general are such twats? What an ignorant generalisation. You are WORSE than he is.

For every cascarino, I'll raise you a murty, hahnemann, ivar, chris armstrong, bobby robson, etc

United didn't even reach full speed which is the bad thing. To see Arsenal like that is unbelieveably sad.

Not great choice of words, but I heard the word Massacre used today more than once. Surely the commentors should be sacked for referring to mass murder?

I'd expect a pissed/very emotional Arsenal fan to find it unbelieveably sad, can't really see it from a Reading fan.

As much as I would LOVE to see Arsenal to be relegated, I think that is a MASSIVE over-reaction.

Harry Redknapp on MOTD2

People talking about our players has ruined our pre-season, it's very unsettling.

Oh the irony!

Foster was unlucky with that Shotton goal.
