A familiar tale for me as well with new grounds being built and promotion/relegation to the Conference.

Was in the low 60's 10 years ago but now somewhere in the high 40s

Terminal Boardom Completed the "92" back in 1991. Haven't a clue how many behind that I am now. New stadia plus promotion / relegation from Div 4 has changed everything.

The best grounds i have been to for atmos, when empty, were Villa Park and Old Trafford. Worst ground? Probably The Shay at Halifax.

If you had been at "the shay" for the cup game when Gorman was our manager, a cold wet and windy

night, the terrace was uncovered but the family enclosure had a roof so we had a good few undercover

and the banter was, great, and John G joined in too. so it couldn't be the worst.

I've never counted how many grounds i've been to, but this post has made me wonder, the worst,

I think if i'm watching Reading then there all good.

Not quite sure what counts here. I have been to 68 grounds of current league clubs but some of those are not the ones that they currently occupy. Some of those I have been to 2 grounds (or 3 in the case of Brighton) but I only count 1.
I have also been to the grounds of 8 teams who were league teams but have now dropped out. Does Wimbledon count as MK Dons and does the old Aldershot count as the new one (same ground)?

Been to old and new Wembley with RFC, plus EP and the Madjeski. Been to old Chesterfield, Sunderland and Oxford with RFC, but not the new ones.

Total for me is a pretty poor 16, 15 if you exclude Wembley. 16 if you allow Wealdstone in the Cup.

52 out of the current 92, which I think at the age of 20 is pretty good going. OK I did have an away season ticket for the first year in the prem but still 8)

So there are currently 92 Grounds, plus how many previous grounds?

What is the maximum number possible, say since 1960?

Visited 85 different clubs (8 now no longer in the league) and 93 different league grounds (same club two grounds i.e Derby at The Baseball Ground and Pride Park)

Also Gainsborough Trinity, Matlock Town, Retford and Worksop Town non league.

Plus both Wembleys and Millennium Stadium Cardiff

Missed out on a few such as the Dell and Maine Road :-(

Seeing as there are only 92 Football League grounds at the moment. Then no you couldn't of been to over a 100. Have you been to all 92 current league teams?

I remember turning up at Springfield Road (Wigan's old ground) with a mate on a tues/wed evening in (the winter of?) 1989. Branfoot had just been sacked (I think)and Dave Merrington was in temporary charge.

Had a few beers in a Rovers Return type pub (pleasant locals) and headed for the ground. On our way to the away end we were incongruously met by a copper on a horse(!) asking us where we were going. "The away end", we said. "The away end is closed (the turnstyles were actually boarded up!), but why do you want to go there anyway?", he replied. "We're Reading supporters" we retorted, to which he almost laughed his helmet off, stating that they were told the club (Wigan) weren't expecting any Reading supporters that night and that as an alternative, consequently we could go anywhere we liked in the ground so long as "we didn't make too much noise!".

To which we did and if memory serves, despite going 1-0 up after 5 minutes, got beat 3-1.

42 league grounds chalked off

Just to be clear - the question was "How many football league grounds have you been to ?"

Either you count those that are no longer in the football league or there are only 72.

Not all to watch RFC but I got to 72 + Newport County, (3 different stadiums)

I think I've also been to Port Vale, Gillingham, Northampton

A few of my clubs are not currently in the league, and I visited Crawley when they were NL
