Every photo I have seen of Croatia makes the place look lovely. Think I might add it to the travel list.

Stunning!

As is Henningsvaer IL's 'stadium', Norway. Not sure what the wooden structures are up on the hills.

Yeah not great. Often find clubs target referee's if you "have cost them a game".

Phone calls at home after one match "we know where you live", "hows your daughter" that kind of thing.

Reported me for mistaken identity on a booking which was absolute nonsense but things like that can tarnish you if support not in place and wasted so much time and effort having to justify myself. All because of some jumped up club secretary and manager at the time. Horrible club.

Guess there are a few ‘Dartfords’’ out there....who would be a referee?

Funny really as there were clubs who loved you continually and others who did not.

Hate:
Kings Lynn
Salisbury
Dartford
Fleet Town
Havant and Waterlooville

Love:
Forest Green
Weymouth
Wimborne Town
Aldershot
Hednesford Town

To name a few

Not sure I’ve ever seen Love and Aldershot in the same context on here, ever (Frimmers notwithstanding) tho’

Any Atletico Madrid player who plays 100 games for them gets a plaque in the floor outside their new ground, which I think is quite a nice thing

does lead to one or two former players having theirs vandalised though due to their post Atletico career. They have had to replace Courtois one a number of times

Not a massive surprise considering 70% of Scotland's population live in the central belt.

Those long away journeys aren't helping Fort William. Bottom of the Highland League :(

Viewed a house this week (offer accepted, separate story) - current owner is a builder, inside is a feature 'pillar' that runs floor to ceiling, basically looks like a wooden beam that disappears vertically into the ceiling. Turns out that the owner knew a lot of people at RFC back in the 80s and 90s, and when we left Elm Park, he asked for, and was given, this wooden beam from the North Stand, which he installed in his house.

It's a bit odd, to be honest. Different, I guess.

The Anfield Road expansion has started. Takes capacity up to around 61,000, and what a stand again too.
Much better for away fans who would have a crap view at the back of the lower tier.

Thank God Anfield wasn't flattened for another boring soulless bowl.

Anfield has also just had approval to expand the rail seating to 7800.

Looks good, tbf, and if it improves the visibility from the back of the away end, all the better. Went there in 06/07 for our game and sat at the back and it was horrendous.

Anfield is the only "big ground" I am yet to go to. Hoping we get a 3rd round FA Cup tie there.
