Stooper Always loved the old terrace at Burnley

Leek's town is a tidy little bit of kit, and the factory next door looks immense under the floodlights

Love Odsal, always a great away day (especially as the whole terrace is uncovered)

and Vale Park, definitely suffered from redevlopment

splendid

Stood on that terrace at Turf Moor in 94 watching Burnley play Bolton on the day that Reading won at the Valley with goals from super Simon and Gilkesy. Great terrace.

Some more good ones I remember going to in Japan

The Jubilo Iwata Stadium in Shizuoka:

Hakata-no-mori stadium, home of Avispa Fukuoka

Tosu Stadium, home of Sagan Tosu

Sendai Stadium, home of Vegalta Stadium

Closer to home, here's two 'famous sloping pitches' of the past:

Loakes Park, Wycombe

Huish Park, Yeovil

Dull correction: Huish Park is the current ground. The one with the slope was "the Huish," and is now a Tesco.

It's not really a football stadium either. No club plays there and the national team doesn't play there either. I think the pitch is just for public hire.

It is very odd though.
