I have a feeling that FFF probably already gets charged VAT on it's bookings. I think only the leagues or the FA Affliated Teams can actually claim VAT exemption (I might be wrong!!), from what I remember making bookings for teams over the years. I know that when booking training pitches with some local authorities they require your FA Affliation Number before they allow you to pay for a pitch exempt from VAT.

Even so... at making exercise more expensive and encouraging participation etc...

RBC waive the VAT if you do a block booking.

Whether they still get charged that by the Revenue I've no idea.

They should do or it's against the law unless HMRC has it in their VAT Manual.

I presume it's just a way of offering a discount and incentive for regular custom.

Yeah - although the third "f" is no longer an accurate reflection of the waistlines on show.
