Gay footballers

by The Royal » 16 Feb 2013 12:25

Some American footballer has come out the closet, and is quitting football aged 25 after coming out.
If he is quitting anyway, why mention it????

Does it really matter if your gay or not????
Although I'd not like to share the dressing room with a fudge packer

No, it shouldn't. But the fact that this is news, suggests that football culture is not mature enough to deal with it.

And you've beautifully proved the point with that comment.

Lol I don't care if people are gay, but I'd find it uncomfortable in that sort of situation. But no it should not matter

so why call them "fudge packers"? is it an attempt to belong to real men clique of this forum who have to prove their masculinity by adorning photos of just about anything with genetalia?

Who actually thinks that being gay means anal sex. Is it some rite of passage!

I'm not allowed in the women's changing rooms because society says I'm going to rape them. So why should I have to put up with a bender in my changing room?

Why would you feel uncomfortable being naked in a the same changing room as a gay man? Are you assuming all gay men fancy everyone?

Not really. Perhaps I haven't been particularly eloquent but it's a valid point.

So you're saying gay footballers shouldn't be allowed, because you'd rape them?

You may wish to parade iaround in the buff n front of gay men, I for one wouldn't.

I think gay men should have separate changing facilities from straight men. Same for lesbians and straight women.

Because grown men aren't scared of gays, mainly.
