Salaries in football

by Harpers So Solid Crew » 03 Nov 2015 08:15

We get a good idea if what players and managers earn.

But what about other non playing staff involved in the team.

Coaches, DoF sports scientists physios.

Will our DoF be earning a good wedge. Got thinking seeing sir Les doing a similar role at QPR

How about a groundsman? Or a steward?

Stewards are on minimum wage (or thereabouts), if you mean the ones sat at the front of each stand. The job is often advertised on the OS.

Quite a range, presumably that's everything from Groundsman Assistant to Director of Pitch Maintenance

Long and anti-social hours...lots of responsibility...in charge of many temps etc....the London going rate

My Reading FC groundsman relative gets roughly a quarter of that
