Hal Robson-Kanu

by Forbury Lion » 25 Aug 2016 12:31

Apparently allowing his Reading contract to run down 2 months ago was the best thing he ever did.

Has he got a new club yet?.... technically he isn't a footballer if he's unemployed, so happy to move this to Anything Else if it doesn't meet the General Football criteria

Apparently he's "waiting until deadline day to make his decision."

Yea I saw something where he/or is his agent had said he's had several offers and is going to choose.

I can only think that he must have had at least one offer or he wouldn't say it. Probably a Championship side, similar to Reading and one which definitely is not a move upwards in anyway.

Or maybe he has been offered a deal by Burnley, Hull or Sunderland but thinks he's better than them

IMHO he didn't do enough to deserve his own song.

Think you've got the first three words in the wrong order there.

He'll end up at Hull after the window closes.

This.

Had an interesting conversation with a Welsh fan last summer in Greece and he wondered why HRK was still at Reading - my answer was simply, put him at Doncaster on a wet Tuesday night, away from the TV cameras and you'll see why!

If he's unattached then transfer window rules don't apply so he can still tout himself around to the highest bidder in September?

Come on! Just like that imaginary £100k a week Chinese deal he would have bitten their hands off for? It's all BS from his agent.

He knocked back Forest on an £18k a week deal.

So he'll have had no preseason and missed the first month of season before he gets a move anywhere now. He's not going to be up to speed until mid October at the earliest now

THis raised half a smile on the BBC website

BBC Website Good point on Peter Odemwingie, wonder if he'll get a move today?

Both he and Hal Robson-Kanu are free agents, maybe they could carpool and go around the various Premier League clubs to see if someone will sign them up
