Indeed. Believe he also managed Ian Branfoot for several years during his time in charge at Lincoln so pretty sure that his outlook on the game had an indirect impact on Reading with Branfoot's time here as manager.

Certainly echo the sentiment that he was a really nice guy and a great club manager.
