Strong disagree. Elevates him imo

Also seems to have come back a bit slimmer.

6 points from the last possible 24 for Newcastle. Only Brentford & Shef Utd have done worse.

Best place to be today? Grimsby Town 5-5 Notts County

Remember those days when you had a club where the only thoughts were the football?

There could be 20,000 high class hookers, 3 tonnes of cocaine and a 5-5 draw and Grimsby still wouldn't be the best place to be.

Djed Spence loan cancelled by Leeds as he showed a bad attitude, repeatedly turned up late for training and meetings, and failed to turn up at all for the clubs Christmas visit to a kids hospital

Now sent on loan to Genoa

3 minutes to resolve an offside in the Everton v Villa game. Sorry, if it takes more than 30 seconds to decide then its too close to call. In that instance the on field decision should stand. A simple way to speed things up a bit.

I'm in two minds on this. Generally speaking I want the correct decision to be arrived at. And I think that they did. What I don't understand is why it took over three minutes to get there. Draw the lines, make the call.

I really like the Wenger rule for the game, fwiw. It's going to result in a lot more goals though, if IFAB adopts it. Until defenders adjust, that is. It will make assistants' jobs difficult though.

You can imagine with City's run in now that they're going to pick up momentum and that usually only means one thing. March will play a huge bearing on the title race, City have United, Anfield, Brighton, Arsenal and Villa in a row. Four tough ones and a derby there. You'd think that if they're on top on the other side of that, it'll be theirs again unfortunately.

It's strange as I haven't been as impressed with Liverpool with respect to their league position. But they're extremely resilient. 19 points I believe they've accumulated from losing positions this season which is really impressive
