Pepe the Horseman Conor Bradley having a blinder.

Also looked great against Arsenal the other week. Looks a tidy player

Badiashile genuinely having one of the worst defensive performances from a 'big club' player that I can remember. Its like a fan won a competition to have a run out for his team.

Still only 20 too. Seems more than good enough to be a back-up to Trent atm.

All players are Irish until they realise they are good enough to play for England

The talk doing the rounds up here is that Trent pushes forward into midfield and Bradley takes his place at RB.

They could write books about his "work" for Liverpool's fourth (?)

note to commentators - a shot that hits the woodwork and goes out is just a miss. he missed the target.

Bit churlish of you, Winst. Football is hard, they go for the corners, unlike us amateurs who just thunderblast it and hope we make a decent contact. Hitting the woodwork 11 (12?) times in the season to date (Nunez, I assume you are referring to) is unprecedented. To do it four times in a single game is something else.

My point was at commentators. They act like hitting the woodwork is somehow not quite missing, like its somewhere between a miss and a goal. Its just a miss.

I liked how perfect it was. Left foot, right foot, header, and penalty

Well, no, it's hitting the woodwork - it is a tangible product of only just failing to score, and so is noteworthy.

It elicits a frisson of excitement that shanking wide doesn't quite muster.

Sanguine To do it four times in a single game is shit finishing.

I hope Nunez does end up scoring a bucket load of goals as I really like him as a player. His work rate is superb and he never seems to let his head drop when he's not scoring. Very Bobby Firmino-esque at the moment in that he's not getting 20 league goals a season but is such an asset to the team with what his all round play brings.

Really impressed with Curtis Jones at the moment. Reckon he could be the midfielder that pushes his way into the England squad for the summer. Would prefer him in the squad over Henderson and Gallagher.
