I wonder if anyone neutral actually likes Mancheater City?

I do. Genuinely. Got some very likeable players.

Yeah I don't mind Man City tbh. Certainly no dislike like there was for 00's Chelsea, who felt like they were just there to spoil the party

I went to uni with a couple of Chels fans before Roman took over and they were insufferable back then. Then the money came and they built a team of mostly unlikable players, so at least they stayed on brand.

Sanguine Notts County are threatening to enter the record books this season. They are 13th in League Two and have conceded 72 goals so far (the worst in the division), and yet still have a positive goal difference, having scored 75 (behind only leaders Mansfield).

In football league history, only eight teams have conceded 90 goals or more in a season and finished with a positive goal difference, albeit none since 1965-66, when Bradford Park Avenue shipped 92, scoring 102 for a goal difference of +10.

The 'record' is held by Manchester City. In 1957-58 they finished fifth in the top tier, despite conceding 100 goals. They scored 104.

Sheffield Utd got relegated in 1981 with a positive goal difference.

And in 1998, AIK won the Swedish top tier despite scoring fewer goals than any other team in the division.

Less than a goal a game too. Never scored more than 2 in a game (only did that 4 times) and drew more than they won.

I quite Perugia's 78/79 season. Unbeaten all season but drew 19 of 30 games and finished 3pts behind Milan.

It isn't as bad as that C. Ronaldo statue, but this one of Kane looks like he's got the longest face in the world.

You could have given me a hundred guesses and I'd never have said that was Harry Kane

It's Max Headroom.

I mean I cant sculpt but I reckon I could do better than every single sculpture of a footballer I've ever seen.

Was it made by that shop in the Orkneys who ordered 800 Easter eggs by mistake?

If you’d joined perennial winners only to go through a season with no trophy you’d have a long face, too

Is this one of a collection of England players as a Cadbury's Easter eggs?

And since when does Kane play wearing comedy clown shoes?

An interesting article.

'Premier League teams are on pace to score about 200 extra goals this season, compared to the average of the previous 15 seasons'

Quite an interesting read but isn't it really just a case of defenders being f*****g useless?

Hi Vic, good game last weekend. We had the better chances (according to xG) but you should have put us away.

I refer you back to my previous 'lol if Leicester don't go up automatically'

This has the potential to be the blow up to end all blow ups
