Took Stranded Jr to watch the village team play FSV Frankfurt the other night in a friendly - FSV play in the equivalent of the 4th division - they brought on their new signing Kyle Spence in the second half - tricky winger who came through the Palace ranks, made a couple of apps for Coventry before dropping in to non-league.

After being released by East Grinstead, moved to lower leagues in Norway. Spent last year playing in the Lithuanian top flight, won a player of the month award whilst there - scoring 5 in 18 for a mid-table side. Joined FSV when his contract ended there. Looked a pretty tidy player to be fair but was playing against who have just been promoted to the 7th tier.

About 400 to 500 - not bad at all for a PSF. Nice club, taking Junior along to try out training there soon.

Yeah thats very decent.

Remember manay years ago watching Bayer Levekusen playing Bracknell at Larges Lane, felt quite bizarre watching a top flight outfit playing in what was a complete shithole back then.

Samuel Iling-Junior, 19 year old winger from Islington, came through the Chelsea academy but chose to move to Juventus at 16 (PSG & Bayern both apparently offered him contracts too). Spent the last 2 years in their reserve team who play in Serie C (its a new things in Italy, like what happens in Spain) and this season has now played 3 matches for the first team and has apparently impressed quite a bit

He played for England U20 in September so is certainly on the radar. Primarily a winger, he can play either on the left or right, he has also been deployed at left back, in central midfield and also as an attacking midfielder.

He has played 2 Serie A games, debuting last month v Empoli, and made his CL debut v Benfica as well, coming on as a 70th minute substitute and assisted one goal and made a key pass for a second in a 4-3 defeat. He played in Juve’s most recent league game coming off the bench to provide an assist for the winner after 41 seconds. However he was fouled later in the game and is now out injured until around 20 November.

Presume he won’t be in Southgate’s plans for Qatar but would imagine he’ll debut in the Euro qualifiers at some point if he continues to develop as well as he has done recently.

Once the media have the brains to realise he’s English then no doubt a host of random transfer speculation will be cued.

7 goals in last 4 games has Ademola Lookman as 2nd top scorer in Serie A

Aaron Ramsey & Ross Barkley both regulars for Nice. Both played today in their win. They are in 10th which I think is pretty disappointing for them

Reims unbeaten in 12 under 30yo Englishman Will Still. They also get fined £22k a game because he doesn't have his coaching licence.

Bit of a stretch to call him an Englishman given he was born and grew up in Belgium and he's only ever lived over here for college. Says in that article that he went back to Belgium to finish his coaching badges so how come they're getting fined?

Completely missed Harry Winks joining Sampdoria on loan in August. Has only managed 5 games though, by the looks of it.
