Simmops Absolutely cracking goal from Cohen Bramell against Lewis Ward once of Reading in the PO semi for colchester. proper rocket free kick in top bins from an impossible angle
So far advantage to colchester and cheltenham with 8 minutes left

Pierce Sweeney also played for Exeter (he’s not far off 150 games for them) as did Jake Taylor who is also captain (and he’s coming up to 200 appearances).
Callum Harriott is still with Colchester but didn’t play yesterday so presume he has an injury or is having to isolate.
Sean Long played for Cheltenham so it looks like the L2 PO final will be reasonably well represented by former Reading players.

Shame Exeter are so limited by their ground and local conditions. They're a good little club who try to play good football. They and Taylor deserve to play at a higher level IMO

Only if they win the play-offs will they DESERVE to play at a higher level. But that's only my opinion based on too many clubs and the 'back where we belong' mantra. Every club is where they deserve to be.
Sorry, rant over (and not really aimed at Exeter or you)

Sutekh Cheltenham comfortably beaten at home by Northampton by 3-0. Exeter (who have lost in 2 of the last 3 play off finals) will therefore be face Northampton at Wembley after they beat Colchester 3-2 on aggregate.
So that’ll be a final of Lewis Ward, Pierce Sweeney and Jake Taylor v Keith Curle.

Simmops What a great oxf*rd game we had tonight. Wycombe gave Fleetwood a pasting, 2 red cards and missed penalty.
I would love to see them up in the league.

Looking like a Wembley showdown between Wycombe and Oxford at the moment. Oxford drew 1-1 at Pompey.

Doesn’t look like that at all. How can a 1-1 draw look likely to be an Oxford win?

Utterly blown away by Wycombe last night but should we be surprised when they have someone of the class of Ainsworth in the dugout? In a leather jacket!

Stranded If Wycombe do come up, could it be a step too far like Yeovil and they and up overstretchibg themselves and tumble back down the divisions?
