Betting on anything at 1/7 is ridiculous as far as I'm concerned.

http://www.beatthebookmaker.com will have something far more attractive 8)

New type of bet for me today - 2.5 goals and over.

Games:

Norwich
Swansea
Tottenham
Bristol City
Swindon

£10 pays £174.

The 2 best games to punt on today are not in the FA Cup, League One is where it's at.

RG30 Sheff Utd to beat Bolton at 5/1 looks a massive price. Think I'll be lumping big

Good hit! Had a thought bout this but my fund was runnin low so lumped on Man U at 4/5 which i thought was generous as they always beat Villa

Only Spurs let me down for a decent win yesterday. Made it all back on Ronaldo to score first in the late game. Also had a cheeky 20 on it finishing 1-0 which was a touch annoying.

I like a bit of 43/18 on Stoke today. Excellent value.

Yesterday, I took 9/2 on Sheffield United to beat Bolton, they drifted in from 5's.

Also had a £1 ACCA on the following;

Sheff Utd to beat Bolton
Wigan to beat Sunderland
Boro to beat Bristol City
West Ham to draw with Man City

£1 returns £129.28 :D :D :D :D :D :D

Bloody hell - nice work. Bet you wish you'd had a 20 on it!

Carling Cup betting is interesting. I would need to see the teams but I just don't know how either of those semi final is going go.

Odds for various bits and bobs are, as always at http://www.beatthebookmaker.com

I suppose that I should point out, that technically you cant beat the bookie. If you were doing, your account would be restricted and then closed..

I have lots of restricted accounts. I should take it as a compliment but it still riles me. I was in Spreadex's trading room in the summer, every bettor is profiled (sharp, arber etc).

One restricted account helped in getting me an interview as a trader though....
