HT had a weird nightclub vibe to it. Players go off, floodlights and sidelights flash for 15 minutes while loud euro dance music blasts out. Was a bit odd. If I knew how to post up videos on here I would post one of that.

Think you can upload videos to Imgur. Probably can't embed them here, but would certainly be able to share the Imgur link.

Great reportage.

I'm near Malaga in a few weeks time, will do my best to get to one of their games.

Season ticket is only €270
They are definitely taking up the RFC mantle, though
Nearly made it up last year and now three defeats on the bounce

Winston Biscuit Went to a Spanish Segunda match last night. Loved it, great experience.

Cartagena #35 looked very handy. tricky little attacking midfielder trying to create something for the lump upfront who was pretty useless. MOTM for me was Levante #20. Defensive midfielder who looked like he hardly had to try when shielding the ball and carrying it forward.

Was surprised at how much the game was allowed to flow and some tough tackles were going in.

Looks very well attended.

What were the ticket prices?

€25 a ticket for anywhere in the ground aside from a few fancy €30 tickets

Stadium holds around 15,000. Just read that the official attendance was 7200 which is nonsementz (first trial of this new word, let me know if it works) as the stadium was almost full. No idea where they get that number from but its lolz. Away section looked sold out too, which impressed me for a Friday night 2nd tier game in a country that doesn't have a strong away fan culture

I also liked their no nonsense approach to facilities. Drinks were from a man with a van in the car park who was offering cans of chilled Amstel for €1, bottles of water for €1, glass of wine for €1 or a shot of your choice for €1. And some dildo mayonnaise, obv.

Were you allowed to drink inside the ground? Went to the Nou Camp years ago and it was non-alcoholic beer only. Which I only realised once I was four deep.

Same rule in Spain as in the UK. Can drink outside and on the concourse but not in the seating area.

To be fair to Roma, I think they've been doing that for a few years.

Learned today that Galatasaray means Galata Palace in Turkish. Galata being an area of Istanbul.

Zaha goes from Crystal Palace to Galata Palace.

Seems quite mad that Real Madrid let Benzema go and didn't really replace him with anyone.

The only forward they brought in was 33 year old former Stoke man Joselu on loan

BBC Website According to our friends at Opta, Celtic match-winner Kyogo had nine touches in his 76 minutes.

Four of those were shots and he could have had three goals.

As mentioned on another thread, about the standard of upper reaches of The Championship.
There is of course so little money in Scottish football even for the two big boys.

All about opinions, I guess
Didn’t think today was anywhere near top of the Championship, but there you go

Winston Biscuit Lyon in a mess. Financial restrictions put on them for wages whereby the current wage bill is now the max they can offer, so any new deal offered or signing made effectively needs someone to leave.........French FA angry at them for already finding their way around it by bringing in someone from Southampton on loan, paying a loan fee negotiated to a size that means Southampton will use it to cover 100% of the wages

If they have to sell then I hope Rayak Cherki moved to the PL

Lost again today. 4 games in and they are bottom of the league. They had to face up to the Ultra's at the end of the game too. Ainsley Maitland-Niles must be questioning his summer decision to move there
