Turkish football is insane. There is considerable history between the two clubs and now Fenerbahce are going to have a meeting on April 2 to decide on what action they will take as the Turkish FA have done nothing to Trabzonspor over the incident. It won't happen but there is serious speculation that Fenerbahce will elect to no longer play in the Turkish league system!

Interestingly also, there was trouble right from kick off with fans throwing cups of water and flares onto the pitch and and at officials and players. But the officials did nothing to stop the game or threaten abandonment and at the end the Fenerbahce players didn't exactly help matters with celebration dancing their win in the centre circle! And the ref? Well he was the same ref who got a punch up the bracket from the Ankaragucu team chairman earlier this season.
