Doncaster v Bristol City
Plymouth v Crystal Palace

Coca-Cola Football League One
Bristol Rovers v Yeovil
Cheltenham v Millwall
Oldham v Hartlepool
Southend v Crewe

Walsall v Brighton

Coca-Cola Football League Two
Accrington Stanley v Darlington

Nice to see Brum's fixtures starting to build up, with their FACup game postponed last week as well.

I think it shows how sh*t Pompey's ground is! I know we all know that, but really a Prem team calling the game off due to the weather!

Brum will be really annoyed that this one if off as it's adding even more pressure on them now after our win last night.

'Smatter over there --frozen pitches?

Can't compete with the six goddamned inches of fresh snow that have accumulated here over the last 36 hours, and with a Canadian gift due in before midweek. Phecque!

Clearly their Under Soil heating is not up to standard/worse than QPR's for example.

Villa go 3rd, in their 'battle with Arsenal'

Carson makes a bit of a hash of the second.

Surely they're in a battle with United as well?
And, with only a point between them and Chelsea, (and tomorrow's game ... ) surely they're in a battle with them as well?

Everything that's happening to them could well be a true blessing in disguise for the Royals!

Let's now hope Wolves slip up...

Then a good weekend will be turned into a great weekend!

When are the matches to be played?

This weather is crazy too. So much for 'Global Warming' more like 'Global Cooling'
We should give credit to our groundsman for doing a great job and seeing that the match has gone ahead.

S09Royal So much for 'Global Warming'

Experts stopped using that phrase years ago and went on to 'climate change' as there was proof that some areas of the world are getting colder year on year.

Postponed games

by AthleticoSpizz » 10 Jan 2009 21:06

So many fans (Prem to Conf. and beyond) are let down due to frozen/ waterlogged pitches.

Precious money is spent on travel/food and the likes...................then the game dosn't happen

(with the silly money that is paid on players wages............maybe a review in favour of the supporters needs to be considered........ie undersoil heating/earlier cancelation notification etc)

to speak the obvious
