Tranmere received a couple of PL offers for Dale Jennings before he joined Bayern's a couple of years ago, could be one to watch...

He's been playing in Bayerns reserve side, who are in their 4th division

I reckon he could be another Freddy Adu

"I spoke with the manager and his assistant at Barnsley, and he said he had wanted to get me while I was at Tranmere." Lolz, he wasn't even the manager when he was at Tranmere.

I don't know what's funnier - that, paying £35m for him in the first place, or paying £15m for a striker with 18 goals in two and a half years.

The next Akinbiyi.

Not as funny as seeing how much Chelsea will lose on Torres

Let's not forget Torres has repaid some of his fee by helping win our first European Cup and Europa League. Definitely better VFM than £35 for Carroll.

Toronto managed to scrape $200,000 together to try and buy the Rob Ford crack video if it ever existed. However, that took the city nearly two weeks and I reckon more people are anti-Ford in Toronto than sports fans. I reckon the likes of Man Utd could raise $200,000, but what is that to them?

Thing is, if the club aren't willing to invest in a player - why should us fans do it for them?

Plus imagine the grief the player would get if he's playing shit.
