Give it a few months into the Premier League season and I'm sure Arsenal fans will be moaning they didn't stump up the cash for him when they fail to buy a big name striker this summer.
It is an alarming amount for a player pushing 30.

Maybe not even that long. I'm finding it very amusing that both Manchesters and Chelsea are recruiting solidly with the new money and 4rsenal have bought no one! Wenger the ol' fossil!

They've purchased Granit Xhaka (£34m) and Rob Holding (Free) so far.....
It's long been Wenger's way to buy just one or two final jigsaw pieces every now and then. In terms of big signings - it's only really Cech, Ozil, Welbeck, Sanchez and now Xhaka in the last 4 years or so.

Have to assume they have made him a ridiculous financial offer.
No idea, but when a 29 year old with a dodgy back is worth £78m then even I'm worth £500k in today's market.
