but what is more important is that Noel Hunt is training with and targetted by Pompey (and Eastleigh are sniffing around him too).

Hendo I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. It sounded like you said Johnny Evans to Arsenal for £16m but it couldn't have been that....

Ludicrous money, but...

How much have Man City paid for their piss-poor centre halves recently? At least £16 million buys competence.

Pulis has been in the media saying they want to keep him after being asked about it, so no smoke without fire I think.

Certainly guarantees goals at Champ level. Won't be a bad move if they go back up.

Only saw him in the home game last year, but thought he was very ordinary.

That free-kick he took was hilarious. I believe about 5 people ran over the ball only for him to smack it straight into the wall ..... IIRC

He was arguably Fulham's best player last season - works incredibly hard, a bit of a Martin Butler with a better touch in front of goal, he assisted a good chunk of Dembele's goals as well as bagging plenty himself. Good signing for Villa - although, a bit like Norwood and his move to Brighton, I think the Championship is his obvious ceiling.

ALL of the extra SKY money is going straight to the players and agents. Club owners are just self-destructive mentalists

I know, freaking crazy! The potential is there for sure but he is not worth anywhere near that right now.

I see Ashley Williams being linked with Everton as well, £14m IIRC, am I the only one who doesn't think he is that special? :?

Good bit of business for Everton that I think. Selling Stones for £47m and buy in a more consistent (arguably better currently) replacement for a quarter of the money.

Do Barnsley have a sell on clause? Could be a good bit of business for them too.
