Mbappe is only ever off to RM. Its either now for a cut price, but still hefty, amount of money, or in the summer for free.

if he leaves then he gives up his final loyalty payment, so I would imagine leaving on a free and demanding a big signing on fee at RM would suit him in that regard

Just a real shame. Love to see a player like that come to the PL instead doing the same weary expected trail to RM

Different type of player, yes, but still a world class young talent who came to England and didn't go to Madrid, despite interest.

Give it 3 or 4 years, when he is in his prime.

This. Same path as Mbappe, who will be 25 when he joins Real. Maybe a year younger.

And/or when Man City drop off, which might be in that timeframe anyway if Pep leaves.

United shat the bed when Fergie left as it was all structured around him

City have everything in place for a manager to succeed.

Who d'ya reckon succeeds Pep?

I severely doubt Mbappe will leave PSG for Real, but on the off chance he does, I think that would prevent Haaland from joining. Just don't see the two wanting to share the same stage or the ego of Mbappe being able to handle being challenged as the star man of the team. If Mbappe doesn't go there, then I could see Haaland joining them.

The other thing with Haaland going there is the wildcard of Endrick fulfilling his potential and Real not wanting Haaland. Personally, I think they should've bought Kane in the summer and developed Endrick as an understudy for a few years like Bayern are currently doing with Kane and Mathys Tel.

Reckon most likely is it's all talk and Mbappe is going to end up staying at PSG for another 5 years at which point everyone else will moved on to the next "star".

Hope Haaland goes to RM - anything that damages ManC can only be good.

I just think it will be extremely difficult to maintain that level of success, the next manager they get is very likely to be worse than Pep, very few names about in his category. Not suggesting they will be as bad as Man United, but they might end up battling it out for the top four and just not winning as much as they do now.

And there might be possible fall out to handle if the authorities do actually do something over their financial "irregularities". Will it be one from the current "top manager merry go-round" then or might they "pluck" a "new" name from somewhere? Going away now to hope that they might see something in Selles... :?

"If we could have taken 10 billion, we would have done it": Kylian Mbappé's mother is adamant about PSG

The "Envoyé Spécial" programme about Kylian Mbappé will be broadcast on France 2 on 18 January.

After Cyril Hanouna and Depardieu, Envoyé Spécial is tackling Kylian Mbappé! The programme is eagerly awaited by the world's most talked-about French footballer. Even if the programme is not expected to pursue the same goals of denunciation as with the actor or the number one TV presenter in France.

A number of extracts have already been released. One of them is rather equivocal, as we hear the mother of the 2018 world champion speaking about her son's contract. The woman who looks after the Bondy rocket's interests showed a keen sense of business. Above all, she showed that she has absolutely no qualms. Business is business, full stop.

"There's no guilt, no shame. If we could have taken 10 billion, we would have taken it, because that's the way the system works", said Fayza Lamari, according to the transcript of an excerpt previewed by Le Parisien.

The agent was speaking about Kylian Mbappé's extension to 2022. Uncompromising, she made no concessions to the Parisian club. Courted by PSG, he has become one of the best paid sportsmen in the world, with a current contract estimated at €72 million gross per year. In another extract, we see the mother of the siblings comparing the story of the family, which was poor to begin with, to that of the "Tuches".

Fayza Lamari in a difficult deal... with Kylian Mbappé

KM7 is currently at the end of his contract elsewhere and is reportedly still being pursued by Real Madrid. He has already turned down a €180 million bounty because he has decided to take his time in choosing his future. However, he would have had that sum in his bank account if he had exercised the option to automatically extend his contract by one year.

Another highlight of the report is the bitter negotiations between the mother... and her son! In fact, she explains how she imposed on her son that 30% of the profits generated by the 2018 world champion's companies should be paid to IBKM. "Inspired by Kylian Mbappé" (IBKM) is the company co-managed by Fayza Lamari and Kylian Mbappé. "I said to him: 'If you get below 30%, I won't do it! I'm going on holiday to the Maldives, but I'm not working for you! "At first, I told him we'd go 50/50, but we talked it over and came down to 30."

Business is business. With the family too!
