Ok, wtf happened there? ITV commentators were telling me that Cisse got sent off, had to do some work and now I can see Cisse on the pitch. I take it Gourcuff owened up so he didn't have to bother with the remaniing 70 mins?

Cisse's reaction suggested he thought he had been sent off and thats what the pictures zoomed in on but it was clearly a red for Gourkoff.

Gourcuff came jumping in for a high ball, from quite a distance, leading with his arm.

He made no movement towards the player with his arm so it was just one of those 'using the arm for leverage when jumping' situations. He clobbered the defender on the neck. Cisse tried an overhead kick as the ball dropped.

Red card shown, obvioulsy for the elbow and nothing to do with Cisse.

I think it was a bit harsh, but one of those that will often be a red.

Well I think its a disgusting way for players to carry on, shows them all up to be petulant spoiled brats and I personally hope the French FA have got the bottle to ban them from ever playing for France again.
