5 teams conceded over 100, Lymington 126 in 33 games

Money fields scored 138 in 37,Stoneham and shaftebury over 110

Yes, please can someone explain the reasoning why Altincham get the bye rather than Solihull when the league positions would dictate Alty should play Halifax.

Not quite as many goals but from less games - this is the league our local side play in (Kalbach) - its the 7th tier of the German pyramid.

Shed load of goals. Team in 17th have seen 175 goals in their 28 games (scored 46 conceded 131)

https://www.fussball.de/spieltag/gl-fra ... on/matches

I think at that level if you get a couple of decent strikers you will see a ton of goals as the defending is basic at best.

Thought I'd try and post the Preview up early and include some action from this midweek to date - busy time with all these backlogs .... :?
(wasn't certain I'd have a functioning machine to work on either until earlier today so I'd prep'd a lot already)

Saturday 27th April

NAT Pos
Sat Barnet v Solihull Moors/FC Halifax (Wed 24th)
Sun Bromley v Altrincham

NAT-N
Sat Scunthorpe v Boston (bt Alfreton on pens 5-4 after 0-0)
Sun Brackley Town v Chorley/Curzon Ashton (Wed 24th)

NAT-S
Sat Chelmsford v Braintree (bt Bath City 1-0)
Sun Worthing v Maidstone/Aveley (Wed 24th)

SLP-C
Berkhamsted v Halesowen Town
Hitchin Town v Stourbridge
Leamington v AFC Sudbury
Long Eaton United v Leiston
Royston Town v Stratford Town
St Ives Town v Alvechurch
Champions : Needham Market
POs: AFC Telford & Mickleover home ties vs Leamington / Redditch with Stamford or Stratford in with a chance on the final day
Relegated: Berkhamsted, Lon Eaton and Nuneaton Borough (folded) – will be joined by Hitchin or AFC Sudbury

SLP-S
Beaconsfield Town v Plymouth Parkway
Bracknell Town v Hayes & Yeading United
Didcot Town
v Hendon
Dorchester Town v AFC Totton
Gosport Borough v Chesham United
Hungerford Town
v Basingstoke Town
Merthyr Town v Harrow Borough
Salisbury v Hanwell Town
Swindon Supermarine v Winchester City
Tiverton Town v Sholing
Walton & Hersham v Poole Town
Champions: Chesham United
POs: AFC Totton, Salisbury & Gosport for 2nd to 4th – Bracknell or Merthyr for 5th
Relegated: Didcot & Harrow Borough – then any two from Plymouth Parkway, Hayes & Yeading, Supermarine, Beaconsfield & (should there be a rather improbable set of results) Hanwell
– PP lost 0-3 at home (Mon 22nd ) to Totton & host H&Y on Wed night

SL1-C
Aylesbury United v Biggleswade
Bedford Town v North Leigh
Kidlington v Hertford Town
Waltham Abbey v Thame United
Champions: Biggleswade Town (only need a point for the title) or Bedford Town who’d have to seriously collapse NOT to get anything vs free-falling Nor Lye
POs : Runner-up from the above then AFC Dunstable, Ware & Waltham Abbey
Relegated : Kempston Rovers plus possibly Thame or Aylesbury Utd – dependent upon allocations/resignations elsewhere etc

IL1-SC
Binfield v Uxbridge
Chertsey Town v Badshot Lea
Leatherhead v Hartley Wintney
Marlow
v Hanworth Villa
Metropolitan Police v Ashford Town (Middx)
Northwood v Ascot United
Raynes Park Vale v Guernsey
Southall v Chipstead
Thatcham Town v Sutton Common Rovers
Westfield v Corinthian-Casuals
Champions : Chertsey Town
POs : Marlow (runners-up) v Westfield - possibly.... :?
Leatherhead v Southall – or possibly reversed should positions switch GD identical ‘Tanners’ three points in front.
Westfield won 2-1 midweek (Tue H v Northwood) so might even grab 4th spot should Southall slip vs ‘Chips’
Relegated: Cor-Cas then most probably Chipstead or Binfield if the ‘Moles’ fail to get anything out of Uxbridge and there is a big upset at Burnham (Southall)

CCL-PN
Fri: Hilltop v Egham @ Beaconsfield
Ardley United v Holyport
Bedfont Sports v North Greenford United
Broadfields United v Rayners Lane
Chalfont St Peter v Flackwell Heath
Harefield United v Risborough Rangers
Reading City v Edgware & Kingsbury
Wallingford & Crowmarsh v Virginia Water
Wembley v Milton United
Wokingham & Emmbrook
v Burnham
Champions : Flackwell Heath – as above - a big win at struggling Hilltop, played at Uxbridge on Tue, coupled with Rayners Lane’s defeat at North Greenford Utd, means the ‘Heathens’ win the title.
- NGU crept up on the rails unnoticed and have rather complicated the PO picture
- had three wins in recently re-arranged fixtures and like Reading City they have also had Div One ‘lodgers’ to accommodate (RB Kensington). Now only 5 pts behind 3 teams level on 58 points fighting for 4th & 5th – Holyport only have one game remaining so may miss out – doubt they have the grading either. Burnham in 4th lost to Reading City 5th @ Rivermoor last night. City host Broadfields tonight (Wed).

- I’ve still not established if it’s one or two go down from CCL-P divisions – I suspect it ought to be two as there could be four promotees.
- Chalfont St P. most probably one - but Wok & Emmbk, Wallingford & Crowmarsh (host NGU tonight - Wed) or Hilltop could join them.

- ‘Sumas’ gave their survival hopes a big boost with a fairly comfortable 2-0 win at Egham Town. I got to the Runnymede Stadium last night . Last watched the ‘Sarnies’ in their Southern League / Isthmian days - had a spell in the in the mid 10’s after they’d won the CCL in 2013.
- Place is a tad run-down now, under 100 in attendance – no Tea Bar open within the ground :( and bottled beer only in the bar. Never been an easy ground to find either – and still tricky even in the days of SatNav: real ‘old school’ NL ground tucked away in the back streets. Managed to find a space in the main car park there too which, as I arrived at 19:40, is a sure sign they are not well supported these days .

CCL-PS
Abbey Rangers v AFC Croydon Athletic
Alton v Camberley Town
Balham v Knaphill
Cobham v Sandhurst Town
Colliers Wood United v Sheerwater
Fleet Town
v Horley Town
Guildford City v Epsom & Ewell
Jersey Bulls v Spelthorne Sports
Tooting & Mitcham United v Farnham Town
Champions: Farnham Town – went beyond the 100 points mark last night with a win on Tue at AFC Croydon
POs : covered previously – but Tadley’s win over CWU (on Monday) confirmed their place 4th or 5th – so will travel to Jersey or Knaphill
– AFC Croydon make up the other Semi-Finalist and have two games in hand on Redhill/Alton. Redhill won 3-2 at Fleet last night to go past AFC.

CCL-1
Berks County v Penn & Tylers Green
Brook House v Windsor
Eversley & California
v Spartans Youth
Holmer Green v Hillingdon Borough
London Colney v Bagshot
London Samurai Rovers v Amersham Town
Rising Ballers Kensington v Westside
Woodley United v Molesey – somebody had spotted the 'double-booking' at Rivermoor and this one has now been switched to Molesey - still showing a clash for Thu night though?
Champions: Amersham Town
POs: still plenty of games to fit in here but currently home PO advantage with British Airways and Berks County – though have been hearing some ‘rumbles’ about BA possibly leaving The Orchard – not sure if by choice either – so they may have to find another g/share soon or drop back down to the Middx County League?
- RB Kensington - 8th with a game in hand could muscle in - the other PO spots are probably Eversley & Cal. and Molesey. Yateley & Langley missed out - both played (and won) their final matches on Tue 23rd but they cannot overhaul 5th place
– ‘Moles’ still have three to play all away : RBK have 4 at ‘home’ but are only a point behind.

WESS-P
- Only three ‘mop-up’ fixtures on the final day.
Champions: Moneyfields
POs this midweek :
Tue 23/04 AFC Stoneham 2-1 Baffins Milton Rovers
Wed 24/04 Shaftesbury v AFC Portchester

WESS-1
Andover Town v Newport (IoW)
Ash United v AFC Aldermaston - Aldermaston battered 7-1 at 2nd placed Millbrook
East Cowes Victoria v Frimley Green
Fawley AFC v Alresford Town
Totton & Eling v Cove - Cove probably out of the PO scene now as E.Cowes won 3-0 at T&E last night - shame as they were set up for a potential 'winners take all eliminator' game on Thursday vs Fleetlands - which was being played at Frimley Green. I suppose a win for the 'visitors' gives them a chance of overtaking the island side?

TVL-P
14:00 Holyport Reserves v Windsor & Eton

Reading City drew 2-2 last night. A win tonight at home against Hilltop cements a play- off spot with a match to spare.
Virginia Water are ending their ground share at Stag Meadow Windsor and next season are going 3g at Slough Town FC

Made the effort to get out last night (Wed) - nipped thru' Town & up the Woodcote Rd to the Hithercroft (now rather grandly tagged the Howden Stadium) for:

CCL-PN Wallingford and Crowmarsh 1-0 North Greenford United - fairly small crowd and low on goalmouth action.
I was beginning to worry that I was about to witness successive 0-0's at this ground, when the hosts grabbed the only goal just before the hour mark.

For tonight - 'possibles' at Rivermoor, Holmer Gn (v Woodley) or Cove v Fleetlands @ Frimley Gn

NGU were chasing a PO spot and still do have three games left to grab one but remain 5/6 points behind 4th & 5th. They looked a bit 'leggy' and will need to hope Burnham or 'City' slip up in their last 2 games. They host the 'Sumas' tonight at Berkeley Fields, who need points too for survival.

For 'Wally' this win secures their safety in the Premier. NLM shows 2 relegation places so : Chalfont St P. (almost certainly) then one from Wok & Emm. , Hilltop or Edgware & Kingsbury.

Hilltop do have Sat. off but play (as R&R above) Thu/Fri/Mon/Tue - Monday being the crucial one vs Wokingham & E. - also 'host' Egham (Fri) & Burnham (Tue) both at Beaconsfield.

On Sat 27th Wok & Emm host Burnham whist Edgware & K come to Rivermoor.

Trouble at Southall v Chipstead game- abandoned.
I quote from Chipstead social media

“ proud of the decision the players and my staff made today not to return to the pitch after one of our players was needlessly and mindlessly racially abused.
Who comes to a non league game to spout that hate “ ?

indeed - intolerable - was reportedly a spectator : :|
- The 'Chips' club website emphasises how the 'home' officials ensured the individual was ejected from the ground.

We would like to place on record the proficient way the Southall directors handled the situation and dismissed the spectator from the ground following the incident.

Puts a potential hold on Wednesday's POs Semi-Finals too
- Southall would have finished 4th above Westfield with a win (they were leading 2-0)
- Marlow or Leatherhead await the outcome. Can only think the result may be allowed to stand.....I doubt Chipstead would welcome a replay?
Especially since they were relegated anyway this PM regardless of the result, following 'Moles' getting a point with a 99' equalizer at home to Uxbridge.

Salisbury v Gosport Borough
Relegated: Didcot, Harrow Borough, Hayes & Yeading & Beaconsfield

SL1-C
Aylesbury United 1-0 Biggleswade
Bedford Town 4-0 North Leigh – Nor Lye’s disastrous plummet is finally over, They fell from top on 30th Jan to 16th – with 15 straight defeats. That immediately followed their grading failure for STEP03 and led to manager & 1st team squad departing en masse.
Would not be at all surprised to see the club request voluntary demotion close season?

Kidlington 2-0 Hertford Town
Waltham Abbey 3-2 Thame United
Champions: Biggleswade Town bt Ware 4-1 to hold off Bedford Town. All the goals after the hour mark – visitors had led at H/T.
POs :
Bedford Town v Ware
AFC Dunstable v Waltham Abbey

As seems to be the norm and given the uncertainty from the Leagues themselves - NLM at odds with official sites re relegation from STEP04 & STEP05.

IL1-SC
Binfield 1-1 Uxbridge
Chertsey Town 2-1 Badshot Lea – Curfews reach 100 pts to go with 103 goals and only 1 league defeat – actually runners-up Marlow, scored three more but were 11 points behind.

Northwood 2-3 Ascot United

Reading City 1-1 Edgware & Kingsbury – att 210
Wallingford & Crowmarsh 1-4 Virginia Water
Wembley 1-1 Milton United
Wokingham & Emmbrook

POs :
Rayners La v Holyport or Burnham – ‘Blues’ have a game left v Hilltop on Thu @ Beaconsfield – need a point to oust ‘port’ from 5th spot[.
Bedfont Sports v Reading City
Relegated Chalfont St P. – been assured it is only ONE relegated from this division - not fully convinced - but none of the CCL sites line up with games remaining either! :?

CCL-1
Berks County 1-2 Penn & Tylers Green
Brook House 3-2 Windsor
Eversley & California
1-1 Spartans Youth
Holmer Green 2-0 Hillingdon Borough
London Colney ?-? Bagshot – no info on official or otherwise league sites: nor news from either club’s soc. media yet
– both confirmed in the drop zone already, so it is possible they both decided to give it a miss and ‘go fishing’??

London Samurai Rovers 1-3 Amersham Town
Rising Ballers Kensington 1-3 Westside
Woodley United 1-2 Molesey @ Molesey
POs:
British Airways and Berks County have home ties: Will host Eversley & California, Molesey or RB Kensington
- Woodley still have 4 games and a Challenge Cup match to fit in – and I’m not sure that tie at Tadley is even a S-F – could be an earlier round!

HELLENIC Premier PO Final this Tue
RWBT v Cinderford

WESS-P
PO Final
AFC Stoneham 0-1 Shaftesbury – att 534 - someone rather dryly suggested Shaftesbury are probably bound for the Southern League as they don’t quite fit within the Isthmian footprint ! :D

...ta -was fairly sure it would be one or the other 'not bothering' if that's not too harsh...... think LC have a fixture left vs Woodley too.

In the NAT POs this PM Bromley Brackley 8) and Worthing progress to their respective NAT - North & South Finals with wins over Altrincham, Chorley and Maidstone.

...and Isthmian League have moved very swiftly, to announce that the Southall vs Chipstead game above remains as a home win and Southall go to Leatherhead: with Westfield coming to Marlow in the S-Fs this week.
