Is it 12 points in the National Leagues? If so, would drop them down to 34pts and 19th place.

Hope they can recover - probably should have got back into the League in 20/21 but could end up in the Southern League next year.

Sounds like fans view him like Reading fans generally view Dai. Hope Reading/STAR will reach out and offer any advice/assistance/support

Sounds like the owner there bought in with his sights on moving to a new ground and developing Plainmoor.

If they can get a new owner who is interested in the club, rather than a property development, this could work out OK for them in the long run. A club in administration should be cheaper to buy, which might help.

Of course, that still depends on who own the ground.

...lots of doom 'n gloom' about the 'Gulls' on NLM - as you may imagine - with points deductions and double-relegation being mooted - so in theory could start at STEP04 next season - if there's any 'juice' in the rumours.
Plainmoor said to be 'Council-Owned' so that might be a safety-buffer?

Taunton seem to have avoided a similar issue this week by paying an HMRC bill - problems originated with a sponsorship deal not happening or such-like?
Not sure how that would have impacted on 'new lodgers' Truro - yes don't blink - TRURO  : a mere 2 1/2 hours drive away!!
.... and Taunton's Wordsworth Drive Ground is probably close to or on a par with Scours Lane, being affected by wet weather - so not the most sensible option either. :?
They may have run out of viable alternatives, now they've decamped from Bolitho Park (P.Parkway)

Rochdale are also said to be in real bother ....pending a takeover - some talk they are 'fan-owned' currently - but with liquidation a possibility?

After all that cheery news it seems the ownership problem in the game is getting worse. Good luck to all in getting it sorted positively and quickly.

You'd think there'd be a 3G pitch somewhere in Cornwall that Truro could use though getting one with the relevant ground grading is probably the issue. Hope it's the last share they need as their new 4000 cpacity ground at Threemilestone has been approved and hopefully they should finally get back to Truro in 2025/2026

Don't mean to be the harbinger of Gloom - but very sad news coming out of Maidenhead Utd yesterday PM   (RIP)

https://www.maidenhead-advertiser.co.uk/gallery/football/194818/clubs-and-teammates-pay-tribute-to-charlie-strutton-following-his-death-at-34.html

No details as to cause as yet ... very prolific goalscorer for Chalfont St P. (Wiki says 81 in 125 games) then picked up by AFC Wimbledon as result - but seriously injured (on debut I believe?) and went out on loan to a series of local clubs incl. Slough and Aldershot.
-even had a brief spell on loan and then permanent, with the 'Magpies' (MUFC) too but couldn't command a regular place with Dave Tarpey and others in 'full voice'.

Bracknell's game called off just before KO at AFC Totton. Visitors not happy...

...Farnham v Fleet also called off close to 13:30 by match referee....

Saturday 24th February

NAT
Altrincham 1-3 Maidenhead United – good win for ‘Magpies’ at PO chasing Alty, after a run of 4 defeats in a row
- goals from Kevin Lokko, Reece Smith & Clerima had them in charge early in the 2nd half.
- had to do a double-take when I saw Phil Parkinson was manager there – is not THE Phil Parkinson – though oddly enough this one was apparently also at Reading FC, in his early (junior) years

Dorking Wanderers 1-4 Ebbsfleet United
Eastleigh 2-0 Bromley
Gateshead 4-0 Oxford City
Southend United 4-1 Aldershot Town
Woking 1-1 Wealdstone – ‘Cards’ down to 2nd Bottom
NATN
Warrington Town 2-2 Brackley Town
NATS
Hampton & Richmond Borough 1-1 Farnborough
Tonbridge Angels 1-2 Slough Town - ‘Rebels’ up to 9th and just a point shy of the PO spots – Ogbonna hit the winner on 90’

SLP-C
AFC Telford United 3-2 AFC Sudbury
Berkhamsted 0-0 Coalville Town
Halesowen Town 0-3 Royston Town
Hitchin Town 1-2 Bromsgrove Sporting

SLP-S
Basingstoke Town 1-0 Plymouth Parkway att 776 – Bradley Wilson on 83’
Beaconsfield Town 2-1 Walton & Hersham
Chesham United 3-1 Poole Town –att 783 - seemingly all the action in the last 15’ here. Ricardo German put the hosts and leaders ahead on 74’
– Poole who’d lost their previous 6, levelled soon after, only for further goals from German 86’ and Edwards on 95’ thus securing the points for the ‘Generals’ .
– with 2nd placed Salisbury dropping points the gap is now 11 points at the top

Hanwell Town 0-2 Swindon Supermarine
Harrow Borough 1-2 Winchester City – a brace from Oliver Balmer
Hungerford Town 2-1 Sholing – ‘Crusaders’ just outside the POs on GD
Merthyr Town 1-1 Hayes & Yeading United
Salisbury 2-2 Didcot Town – att 770 - good result for ‘Diddy’ at the Ray Mac – crowd witnessed a goal apiece in stoppage time
- Adam Learoyd for the visitors, grabbed a point on 97’ but sadly they are still 10 points from safety, with only 10 games left.
- ‘Parkway’ also in the drop zone but with their terrible ground issues now have EIGHT games in hand – fortunate that Truro have decanted then?

SL1-C
Hadley 1-2 Aylesbury United
Kidlington
0-4 Biggleswade Town
Kings Langley 5-1 North Leigh
Thame United 0-1 Hertford Town

IL1-SC
Ascot United 2-2 Corinthian-Casuals
Chertsey Town 4-4 South Park (Reigate) – att 619 – hosts fought back from 1-3 and 2-4 down at Alwyns – final equalizer on 98’

Thatcham Town 2-2 Westfield
Uxbridge 3-0 Ashford Town (Middx)

CCL-PN
Ardley United 2-4 Harefield United
Edgware & Kingsbury 3-2 Broadfields United
Rayners Lane 0-2 Flackwell Heath - good ‘come-back’ win for ‘Heathens’ following their 1-3 reverse in the recent corresponding fixture at Wilks Park.
- These two are well clear at the top (19pts) and separated only by GD, with the visitors having a game in hand.

Wembley 1-1 Virginia Water

CCL-PS
AFC Croydon Athletic 0-3 Cobham
Epsom & Ewell 3-4 Alton Town
Horley Town 2-5 Tadley Calleva
Jersey Bulls 1-1 Camberley Town
Sandhurst Town 0-1 Redhill

Spartans Youth 1-1 Oxhey Jets
Westside 3-3 FC Deportivo Galicia

HELL- P
Mangotsfield United 0-0 Royal Wootton Bassett Town
HELL-1

Andover Town 0-5 Romsey Town
East Cowes Victoria 1-1 Alresford Town
Frimley Green

I recall when the younger one came in on trial his friends got over excited, when the team list for the weekend game came up, as they thought THE Phil Parkinson was actually him after just a few days training!

It is currently set to rain throughout Saturday round here - light but steady. That, on top of what we've had over the last couple of weeks, may well wash away another significant part of the programme - but here's what is scheduled..
.. (no early Premier KO on either so I might manage to escape the sofa and venture further afield ?) :?

Will try and keep it updated thru Sat AM....
...NOTE no surprises at all but tonight's (Thu 29th) Southern Comb. Cup tie for Reading City vs Cobham @ Rivermoor has been postponed. :|
After this PM's precautionary Pitch Inspections, there have been a few declared P-Ps already :(

EDIT seems to have gone back to 15:00 - expect it was some website 'default' fixture snarl up that originally picked up the evening start??
- actually after some initial delving I may have established that 'Glawster' Ressies had the Stadium booked but have been 'bumped' out to make way for the 'Borrowers'

.....just the 400 mile round trip for any 'home fans' :?

Of course the game should have been staged at Taunton their new 'landlords' but the ground is still deemed unplayable
