,Royals and Racers Binfield have moved Tuesday night’s home match to Ascot Utd’s 3 g pitch.
...makes sense. I've not checked the forecast but expect damage done to a lot of pitches now, with so many weeks of constant downpours soaking everywhere to a bog and piling up the fixtures.
On a positive note I popped along to a Sunday game this AM @ Scours : Tilehurst Charity Cup S-F - Final ought to be at the SCL in mid May ...... and the pitch itself played OK - very boggy surrounds tho and the outside areas still looked saturated.
{GC United bt Englefield Eagles 5-4 on pens after the game ended 1-1. Other S-F due at Rivermoor in a couple of weeks: BAPCO vs 116 Exiles - same sides met in the league today - BAPCO winning 7-1}
....and Plymouth's 'Home' game this PM vs Supermarine in the SLP-S at Bulpit La (Hungerford) ended 4-1 to Parkway, which drops Tiverton and Hayes & Yeading into some bother.....
Will try and get the main Review done early this week, providing I can get access to working machine.
(rather than this cranky old iPad)
