sandman Noel Hunt's missus was on this morning. Mr ContROFLversial.

And, pray, do tell, what fasinating insight did she bring to proceedings?

Do the BBC have such an issue in getting good material from those actually connected with the club that they need to start speaking to the players wives?

If after the amazing scenes from last night, they need to get on the players wives to fill airtime then frankly there is something wrong with their standard of journalism!

And what does Mrs Hunt's menstrual cycle have to do with anything?

And what Pray tell do you get out of calling a woman who commits the dreadful crime of raising money for charity a "bitch" Mr ContROFLversial?

All she did last night was hand the phone over to her Husband. You have some real issues my friend.

FFS - she is first and foremost a fan of the club the same as the rest of us as she herself has stated as we were the first club she ever really followed. If she is asked for her opinion why shouldn't she give it!

Also when Murty was here and playing for us she was at games both home and away sitting in with us fans so she was not exactly a fair weather supporter

MM Sorry I really must stick up for Karen Murty here.

From personal experiences back in the day, she is not an attention seeking WAG - far from it.

How interesting that Mrs Murty got air time again last night over the phone...........on a brilliant night for Reading football club she feels she still has to get involved and jump on the band wagon.....

WHO GIVES A FCVK WHAT SHE THINKS!!! GET THIS BITCH OFF THE AIRWAYS!!

Prick. You're the only one with the problem, I suggest you get it sorted or STFU.

ok, i admit, referring to her as bitch was out of line and I take it back.

However, I still dont see the justification for giving air time to "players wives" when clearly the standard of BBC journalism should be good enough to fill the airtime with other, more worthy interviewees? In the heat and excitement of Tuesday night I cannot imagine it would have been hard for the BBC to encourage some better quality interviewees to answer some questions on air?

I wouldnt mind so much if it was "now and again" but for some reason the players wives (and its mainly Mrs Murty) seem to be first on the speed dial when the BBC are looking for content regarding Reading FC and, in my opinion, Mrs Murty seems only too happy to oblige for the sake of her ego.

I ask again, where does it stop? Would it be of interest to hear from the players parents, their next door neighbour, the dog, the cat or someone who once knew them from way back when? Perhaps we can ask the midwife who helped deliver the player in to the world 20+ years ago for her thoughts?

Can you suggest a more deserving or interesting interviewee that was overlooked by BBCRB?

John Salako, Phil Parkinson, any of the 2006 squad, come to think of it any former Reading player (I did hear Gilkes), the supporters trust, the Mayor of Reading

I could go on.

If Graeme is unable to pick up the phone and dial for himself, then it is he, and not I, that has the issues.........my friend

Really, I would have thought that the Mayor would have been a good person to provide comment - She was there with John Madjeski to start the half marathon only a few weeks ago. Not only that, but I suspect she will play a role in the arrangements for any promotion parade through the town.

Either way, any input from Deborah Edwards, the recognised and honored "first citizen" of Reading would have been infinitely more interesting than anything Karen Murty had to say.

Well thank you for your input, either you are on a roll or someone has helped you to come up with that quip - either way, why dont you put your efforts in to contributing to the thread rather than "trying" to be abusive - gone on, dont be scaread, try it, you never know, you may surprise yourself with what you can come up with.
