ok, i admit, referring to her as bitch was out of line and I take it back.
However, I still dont see the justification for giving air time to "players wives" when clearly the standard of BBC journalism should be good enough to fill the airtime with other, more worthy interviewees? In the heat and excitement of Tuesday night I cannot imagine it would have been hard for the BBC to encourage some better quality interviewees to answer some questions on air?
I wouldnt mind so much if it was "now and again" but for some reason the players wives (and its mainly Mrs Murty) seem to be first on the speed dial when the BBC are looking for content regarding Reading FC and, in my opinion, Mrs Murty seems only too happy to oblige for the sake of her ego.
I ask again, where does it stop? Would it be of interest to hear from the players parents, their next door neighbour, the dog, the cat or someone who once knew them from way back when? Perhaps we can ask the midwife who helped deliver the player in to the world 20+ years ago for her thoughts?
