no reason why we can't get Gunter and Young, with young as a mentor to both of them!

Yes there is - the 25 squad number rule.

We can only afford 4 full backs really so better to have a specialist RB and a specialist LB IMO.

BrockManson Not sure Luke Young would be a very sensible signing. He barely kept QPR in the league so don't see why he should be starting ahead of Cummings!

Actually that is a good reason to sign him.
He was part of a squad that did stay in the EPL.
It is a team sport and RFC above many I have seen in many a year is a Team.
BMc judges players on ability and attitude, not where their last team finished in the league or FM.

Harte, Gunter, Cummings and Young would do absolutely fine, I'm sure we could squeeze in a 5th if the situation arose or bring in someone under 21.

Signing cast-offs from a team that was crap all season isn't a good move at all.

Would be better off signing Connolly if signing QPR rejects is the policy.

The logic behind that being??????

Connolly couldn't get in the team ahead of Young (who you class as a cast off), so why would you want him?!

Neither are good enough for this level but Connolly is the younger so would theoretically prove a better signing.

My point was that Luke Young is crap and there are far better quality right backs out there that Reading have a realistic chance of signing.

Why on Earth would you look at a player's wiki profile to find out anything vaguely current?

Simpson has tweeted he is in Germany.
We are still interested in Luke Young..I reckon we are close to signing Luke Young

Would be happy if we signed him.

Good solid RB who may not be spectacular but with Prem experience. After all Kebe is not the best at tracking back, so a solid RB may be the best option. Cummings could certain learn from him as well.

Just been on a bike ride and saw Luke Young viewing a house nr Basildon. Nice navy blue Porsche Cayenne/beige interior turbo with personalised plate.
