Not going to lose sleep if we don't get him, although don't get me wrong he would be a brilliant signing if we did

Tbh as previously mentioned, Blackpool might be being completely unrealistic or want a stupid sell on clause or equivalent. Ince may be asking too much for wages. Bit too easy to say we fcuked another one up, Blackpool don't want to sell him. We are not going to get bent over and be royally shafted ( ) by spending £10m+ (incl contract, signing on fees etc) just to bring in Tom Ince to the club when we have not yet secured our top flight status.

Seriously do we honestly need him?

I'd rather find another central midfielder to play behind Pog and have McCleary out left

Rodgers has already said No to this window, prob leaked by Blackpool to try and get us/ someone to raise our bid… they are out for as much as they can get. If Ince does go somewhere, it will happen right at the end of the window!

Just watched the McD post match interview where he says Tom Ince won't be coming. As he says it he moves his hand up to scratch his face. Classic lying body language!

Hes coming! He fukking coming!

No fee has been agreed with Swansea.

A late twist in this transfer i think.

honestly does swansea REALLY need him? it seems they have enough quality in the midfield/wings that they dont...if he went there he would pull a gylfi, and at this stage in his career that would be a disaster. if he came to use he would actually probably play week in week out.

There are 17 team he'll go to first.

And that's just in the Prem.

If Swansea sign him, they go bust right? Is that how it works?

If its dead, good.

8mill or so on a young midfielder who we'd just expect to slot into our form team and make it better?

If it ain't broke don't fix it I guess. 4-5-1 with a 4-4-2 escape plan is working for now.

But then part of me says even if he gives us he point that might just be the difference between survival and relegation :?:

Except 4-5-1 isn't really working, and 4-4-2 only works as an escape plan. Ideally, we should be getting that 4-5-1 working well enough that it doesn't NEED 4-4-2 to rescue it's ass every game. Unless going two goals down is genuinely a tactic we want to employ.
