We have no chance now. We should have gone for him 2 years ago but our scouts are too shite to see his potential

And we'd probably have little to gain by adding him to our squad.
Odd how Reading fans are keen to lose the Welsh RWing Back who has been earmarked by some as the best RWingBack at Euro 2016 and yet are keen to gain the NI striker who couldn't even get on the pitch because he is their 4th best striker! That's the 4th best striker in NI, not Spain or Germany.

I think it might have something to do with the Rwingback playing Rfullback for us to a mediocre level for four seasons compared to someone who has actually come off the back of a successful season and may well go on to perform and achieve better things.
Just think, instead of Gunter we could have got Clyne. Or maybe Trippier.

Two points to make here - he's already had a stint in the Championship with Brentford and flopped.
Secondly, this a daft thread and will never happen.
