Don't think it was the wrong decision at the time - he managed 14 starts for us that season - and even less than that the following year. It's only last season that he was back playing regularly.

I don't think a club in our financial position can afford to take a chance on a player struggling to return from injury

Jerome Sinclair is still only 25!

But has only scored 6 league goals in his career, which makes Jordan Ibe seem successful.

If that's just speculation, I haven't been impressed with him for a couple of seasons now, he was poor at Watford last season (granted so were they) and he looked completely out of shape when I saw him play. Had his personal issues in the past as well so not sure how that would work out as well as wages.

Obviously has ability, but also seems to have quite a lot of problems as well. Said this 12 months ago with Drinkwater though as well.

But him on loan with say BO-O signed as initial back up is probably the best we can ask for at the moment.

Anyone wanting loads of money won’t even get a phone call.
Attitude means a lot of different things, Rose has had issues with depression for sure. I wouldn’t want someone who skipped training, was always out clubbing or sulked if they were dropped but I’ve no problem with someone who has opinions, speaks their mind and thinks they can play (as long as they can)

Suspect attitude, known issues with his mental health iirc, former name in the way down, aging... if he could play to his potential its a no brainer, but I fear he'd be a bit of a shambles.
