Suggestion that Sam Smith is on the radar as well. Why not? Would be worth picking up I think

He was one we should've given more of an opportunity to. Would be a good signing for us, although he's also linked with Wycombe and Portsmouth.

He would be an excellent signing at this level - even though, I can already see the "we should never have let him go" comments becoming unbearable despite him not being Championship level at the time, or probably now.

Clyde1998 Can she play for our women's team? Make it a double signing?

Sorry but should we know who Olivia Attwood is beyond, presumably, being Bradley's missus ?

I had to Google her myself, but she appears on the "reality" TV shows which tend to appeal to younger people (especially women).

Yeah plenty of those already! But agreed. Hopefully having a few old friends etc here may give us an edge

Guess it'll be either Knibbs or Walcott.

Heard a few whispers that we will make several signings very soon. But we have no money in the pot for transfer fees so all will be free agents and loans. But whilst we are embargo free, we still have to stick to an agreement with the EFL on maximum wages and percentage spent on agents fees.

Surely it'll just be the 75% wages to turnover rule relegated clubs are permitted for a season? The EFL can't punish us for something we've already been punished for.

It’d be nice to have the chance to spend a few quid (200k or so) to secure the right player but other than that it’s not a huge issue. Majority of signings at this level prob free nowadays

We should have a few quid knocking about to pay some relatively high wages to help attract some decent players and are quite attractive for a loan

I’m sure they can if they try hard enough

Rumour that Tyrese Fornah has been at the training ground.

If true, would be decent at L1 as has been excellent at this level previously.

He wouldn't take time to bed in, as we had him last season. I think he looked okay last season and done well in League One previously. He's still only 23, so would continue to improve.

I'm guessing he'd be on loan again?

Yeah wouldn’t say no if he didn’t cost us anything

He showed flashes but champ was a step too far for him. Would expect him to be a lot better in L1

Luke Amos also linked, along with an unnamed Portuguese youngster: https://twitter.com/EddieRFC7/status/16 ... 04032?s=20.

Amos would be another solid central midfielder avaliable on a free.

Yeah you’d think L1 prob Amos level so again would prob be a sensible signing for us

Profile again - reasonably young but fairly experienced CMs - is what we need

Apparently he rejected the chance to re sign Bacuna. Good on us.

One of the few players we sold when we got offered good money for him. Agree it's a good decision not to resign him, I don't think he's the type of player we should be going for and there'll be better or similar ability players than him available for lower wages.
