If this is true I don’t mind this, just because he plays in a lower league does not mean he can’t step up. Wages will be cheaper and more sustainable. I imagine there are others in the lower leagues with potential to.
I think we have become a bit snobbish on our transfers and expectations.

We are a league 1 club trying to be sustainable. If some of the money from Knibbs is used on lower league potential to fill the squad no complaints from me.

Not sure about Shade, I would say that things are very dark at RFC if we have to sink that low to get a striker. Hardly tore up League 2 when he had the chance.

If we are going pure speculation Luca Barrington keeps sticking out for me, released by Brighton at end of the season, 20 yrs old and was on loan at Grimsby last year. 4 goals and 2 assists in league 2. Just might be the type of player we would probably go for now.

I don’t imagine Esstleigh's transfer record is that high.

14 goals in NL last season. 25. Big ask to step up 2 divisions. But we need options and I don't think Tuma or JOP are really it upfront.
