Readers will remember I'm a big fan of Rino. But I don't see the point in his signing.

Sure, he's more defensively solid as DM than Savage or Wing... but Fraser is also in that area. He's not at all threatening going forward.

And he spent the last couple of seasons playing RB at Cardiff, didn’t he? We don’t need him at RB with Yids, Abrefa and Ahmed.

Williams, again don't really see the point. We have four players who can play LB already. He'd need to be a substantial step up on Jacob/Ryan/Dorsett/Garcia to be worth signing, even if we send Jacob back.

Rino would presumably be signed as a DM - plenty of cover at RB as has been said. This would suggest Fraser is out for a while.

Williams I would see as temporary cover for two positions with a load of injuries around at the moment, but with a chance to impress.

As you know I’m not delighted by more players coming in, but suggests that it’s prob injury cover initially - semi reliable Brogue says Jacob injured. No sign of Fraser atm. So I think these 2 are to cover there

I think with are ridiculous injury list generally it’s reasonable to sign them short term. Doyle and Elliott also likely out, Elliott for a while.

If they do well then it could mean loans going back in Jan

Brogue also says Fraser was never injured.

Jacob out still leaves Dorsett (maybe having to play CB), Ryan and the newly fit Garcia (maybe he’ll be playing wing)

And at RB all three seem fit. Whilst Rino is categorically not the player you bring in for Elliott and Doyle. Maybe if Fraser and Wing are out.

So it still makes little sense to me. I know maybe there's simply no AMs or strikers, keepers or wingers free... but those would all make more sense as positions to bring support in.

If we switch to 3 CBs and wing backs, maybe.

But we could still field this even with an insane injury list, without them.

.......................Stevens (yuck)
........Yiadom, Stickland, Dorsett
Abrefa......Spencer..Savage....Garcia
....Kyerewaa......................Lane
..................Ehibhatiomhan

Subs: Norcott, Ahmed, Borgnis, Sackey, Camara, O'Mahoney, Ryan

Don’t get me wrong, I'd be very happy seeing Rino reviving his career with us... just doesn't mke sense to me.

Maybe bringing in Rino frees up selling Savage in January?

I get you - maybe it is a case of just the best there is available. Obvs rino hasn’t actually signed yet either. You know the profile of player id bring in if any

Maybe it’ll make a bit more sense in the next few weeks when it’s clear who is injured and who isn’t. And who LR immediately doesn’t rate

He was keeping cards very close to his chest in the presser from the look of things - no idea how long Ritchie, Marriott, Elliott, Doyle, Lane, Jacob and Fraser are out for if at all

Rino could simply be cover for Wing and Savage who must have played just about every league minute so far

Rino and Richardson are known to each other too with Andy having spent time on loan at Rotherham the last time they were in the Championship.

Playing the CM2 2020 edition (and looking at match reports from that season) has reminded me what a good player Rinomhota was for us. Brings energy, and has a good long pass on him too. He'd be a great signing at this level. Was shocked to discover at the weekend he was without a club. As has been said, must have had an injury.

Weird one Rinomhta. Could be he has fallen through some contractual crack. If he is fit and not carrying some chronic injury issue, I would sign him. He fits the Couhig dynamic, free.
