Reading now reportedly competing with Mansfield and his former club Leyton Orient. He is expected to leave Bolton this window after three seasons (13 goals in 52 league apps). Issue though is that he has not played a game since February 2025 when he did an ACL. He’s now returned to training but not sure this would be a smart move - though probably all Reading could afford these days.

With a lot of these rumours it's possible he was on a list, but not a prime target; didn't make sense financially; didn't make sense in terms of player demands; didn't fit the club's requirements; or any combination.

Not really a player I'm too concerned about us not getting tbh.
