Focherbrendywendy is this all just on the basis of LOLeicester and fordham saying something?
you would have thought that after the sponsored bullshit that comes out on twitter, sky, the papers and the web that people wouldn't be so gullible until facts come out. Same old mongs fall for it everytime.

Svlad Cjelli I'm amazed that even Leicester would be mad enough to offer that sort of money.

Svlad Cjelli And similarly the chance to get £4M for a player with under a year left on their contract is an absolute steal! We'd be mad not to turn it down - and I'm amazed that even Leicester would be mad enough to offer that sort of money.

I just don't understand why Fordham would repeat stuff unless it was from a reliable source - he has nothing to gain from it - but he stands to feel the wrath of the club if they think he is shit stirring. So, for all that I'm a mong anyway, I'm going to believe that Fordham's source is reliable and there's a good chance that LCFC have bid £4 million or so for Kebe.

Elmer Park If true - Leicester bidding for Kebe makes sense. Sadly accepting £4 million for a player with one year of his contract to go makes financial sense. McDermott making such a categorical statement made no sense and was extremely naive.
If true - we have to be very, very careful not to end up with a nice balance sheet but in a relegation struggle. Although they didn't act immediately the Club did eventually bring in new players once Long has been sold and I think we will eventually bring in a couple of players, probably on loan though not necessarily today. Another thing the Club need to be careful about is that they don't give players the image of lacking ambition otherwise it will affect who they can attract.
Becoming a little bit reminiscent of the post Bolton play off sale of the family silver.
Hope it's not true, think it could well be though.

Mr Angry
Thats rubbish; the only players who have gone are Mills (who, after 3 games for his new club, has been dropped) and Long, who was always going to go after we failed to go up in May. Hardly the family silver! Also, why hasn't Kebe signed a new contract? That would imply to me that he wants to go - possibly back to France - so selling him now, especially if £4M is the price (which I doubt btw) makes perfect sense; even the most stupid of fans can see that getting £4M for a player who at the end of the season can leave for £0 is good for the club, especially as Kebe, bar 25 mins against Barnsley, has hardly had an exceptional season thus far (another sign that his heart isn't in it possibly?)

25 Mins against Barnsley? was that before or after the game ?? He has been utter Garbage this season so far.. I would rather a player who is consistant and mediocre than a player who blows hot and cold. More cold than hot may I add. Sell him for 4 million I say..
The problem with Kebe is that you get either Lionel Blair or Lionel Messi and unfortunatly its more often or not Lionel Blair we get.
