we would be very attractive to a potential new manager there is only our and Derbys stadium which are modern, we have the best academy facilities in championship let alone Division 1. We would be seen as a big fish in Division 1.

Division 1 doesn't exist. HTH.

Also Bolton and Shrewsbury have perfectly adequate modern stadiums. HTH.

Way to go, that'll get everyone onside and convinced that the club have learned the lessons about their managerial appointments.

Personally I'd rather have Dennis.

blythspartan I have seen it mentioned that we’re looking at Luke Williams the Notts County manager. Obviously, pure speculation but a managerial appointment of this nature wouldn’t surprise me. Also, he might be able to persuade Langstaff to come here.

Yes have heard the club have asked to speak to him.

Hard to imagine that such an appointment would inspire or galvanise a football club in need of serious restoration, no matter how good he may be, perception is everything!

Marc Skinner LOL
He headed across the Atlantic to take charge at Orlando Pride in 2019 and failed to win any of his first nine games. At the end of his first campaign the Florida club finished bottom.

Sabri Lamouchi leaves Cardiff City. Doubt he'd come here but Wilder may want to go there?

What's his chops, Welsh fella, sacked by Saints. He's most likely to end up there I'd say.

If we were to end up with Lamouchi, I wouldn't actually be too disappointed as an alternative to Wilder. He's got a record at a higher level than a lot of the other candidates mentioned anyway.

Hardly a roaring success at forest or cardiff though was he?

I’d rather stay well clear and look for someone who has managed in L1

No, but I'd rather have someone who was ok in the main at Championship level rather than someone who was successful at National League personally.

Again, it wouldn't be another name that would get me jumping out of my seat, but on paper at least, there are worse candidates mentioned in my opinion.
