tlcs So as to put this rumor to bed as quick as possible...i have been informed by a Watford seson ticket holder that he is SHIT !!! and that is on a good day

Deathy Yesy please

Sums Jay up something chronic!

NO to MORE Midfielders.

YES to Strikers.

Did we not learn anything from last season? Having lots of bodies but gaping holes in the first team is not the way to be successful.

Doesn't it just. Championship managers raving about the young lad but you're concerned we have to many, er, good midfielders.

We don't have 'enough' good midfielders, and we'll be one light come the summer when Gunnar is released.

Cisse
Harper
Gunnarsson

plus a few from the youth academy...

Don't go including the academy because it may be a year or two before we see another product break through.

Matejovski just can't seem to blend in here, and if this level starts to hamper his international future, he could be off in the summer.

Gunnarson will be released in the summer.

Harper, Cisse and Karacan are our three top central midfielders. You could easily consider bringing in another, especially one as highly rated as O'Toole.

Deathy Gunnarson will be released in the summer.

Possibly, but wouldn't it be better to replace him in the summer rather than now?

Not if 'the right' player is available now, no. Plus it gives anyone coming in time to intergrate.

Bill Oddie's Beard A watford fan I spoke to described him as 'a poor man's Stephen Hunt'.

To replace our own then maybe?

What "tool" are we replacing

If we get promoted I think Gunnar will be offered another year because of his experience, but if we stay in the championship it will probably be his last season with us.

You mean like Siggurdsson?

We have 3 players easily good enough for this league, 2 players good enough and 1 possible youngster. We can only play 2. You want another one!? Thanks, but anyone with a brain would rather wait and get a Premiership quality player in, in the summer, to replace Gunnarsson when he almost certainly leaves.

Why are you incapable of getting you're head round prioritisation? We have limited funds, we can't afford to spunk them on the first good player who appears. We have to buy what we need.

Let me put it simply and in as few sylables as possible so you can understand.

WE DO NOT NEED MORE CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS NOW.

WE NEED A STRIKER AND A WINGER

I think leaving off the accents will be acceptable. It's the letters that are most important.
