Cypry I still find it very strange that Anton disappeared the moment he had the baby. It was born in the last week of the transfer window, until that point he was still attending every game, had joined the team on the pre-season tour, and was still talking a good game regarding incoming players. Then suddenly he wasn't contactable, even for last minute player negotiations, as soon as we get an announcement that he's had a baby, and after that, complete radio silence right up until the present.....

I don't even recall there being an announcement as to whether the baby is a boy or girl, and I haven't seen pictures of either the baby, or his missus, since the birth....

I do wonder if, sometime in the future, we'll all find out that something awful went wrong with the birth, and that Anton has been forced to forgoe his commitments to the club for quite understandable reasons, which have nothing to do with money....

Description of Post Hoc

A Post Hoc is a fallacy with the following form:

A occurs before B.
Therefore A is the cause of B.
The Post Hoc fallacy derives its name from the Latin phrase "Post hoc, ergo propter hoc.

According to his wife's web site www.katsiazingarevich.com they had a girl named Sadie and no mention of any problems and last postings are just before Xmas. The club did announce the fact that it was girl

he attended the Oman game which was in September after the baby was born.

Fair enough, not done a lot of digging to be honest - one thing that you're incorrect about is that he definitely wasn't at the Oman game (I was) - Samuelson and SJM were there, Anton wasn't....

OK I wasn't at the Oman game and was going by press reports that he was there such as this one:

.
The Russian is currently abroad following the birth of his first child and has not been to a game since the friendly with Oman on September 7.

Mods please move where you see fit.

If admin is true then sorry WTF is JM playing at? Hard not to be angry at him to be quite honest. What sort of d1ck allows an owner who hasn't signed on the dotted line to sign off a load of inflated contracts & completely fcuk the club up?!

And quite frankly if the club was at risk of a deduction then fcuk the play-offs we should have taken it this season. Shame on them for not doing sooner if true.

Agree, the "honourable" way would have been to take the hit now
but imagine the outcry. We were "certainly" going to finish top six and win the POs...

I would guess (for example) that if a £4M was due to be paid this week and Sir John said, "I'm not paying cos I'm owed too much..."?

Who is us? What exactly are you on about?

Not a knee jerk thread at all. Do you not think that the main forum for Reading fans is not an appropriate place to talk about administration? Silly me to think it's actually quite important....

Loads of people have been talking about admin & it would be good if people who knew anything could shed some light. Come to think of it even Dellor & Gooding discussed it prior to the Donny game which I thought was a bit odd & I did wonder why they brought it up.

Besides - it's a nice day. You not got a beach ball to play with or did the stewards nick it yesterday?

I think the fact that Anton hasn't been around has given licence to the twats around Reading, who think they're ITK specialists because they had a chat to the barman at the millennium hotel outside the ground to spread complete untrue rumours about administration. How could we possibly go into administration with the amount of money from parachute payments; selling of players, which was at least £5 million from Mapps and Kebe and more from previous years and other inwards cash such as the Uche Ikpeauzu compensation money etc. The only way that we could go into administration is if Anton uses the funds that we have created to cover his losses. It's all ghastly rumours spread from people taking advantage of fans when they're at their most vulnerable, such as the dicks that spread the rumour yesterday that Forest had equalised

Can't see it happening.

With the money already scheduled to come in from STs, TV, and parachutes we have more than enough to run a relatively even ship with a vastly reduced wage bill - realistically accomplished by selling a couple of our decent players and letting go all the out of contract players.

In whose interest would it be to render the club worthless, on negative points, and bring in external parties to negotiate the sale of the club?

Certainly not JM or AZ's

I hope you're right but do you not think it was weird that Dellor & Gooding were talking about it on air? I would wager they know a fair bit of stuff that can't be talked about.

And Dellor has definitely softened his approach towards Adkins...

Exactly.

The only creditor cold enough to put us into admin would be HMRC, and currently they have no beef with us. It wouldn't be in anyone elses interest to do so.
