It doesn't matter how bad he is, if we can't get someone better in then McDermott won't just get rid or not play him, he'll have to.
I don't think that will be the case, and I think we'll see a new right back before the start of the season, but I was just making the point that him still being here and in the squad doesn't have to mean McDermott thinks he's good enough.
If he's as bad as many seem to fear we can't fail to get someone better. So ridiculously "what if" I just don't think it's really valid, certainly at this point in time.
