this is a prime example that no-one has any contacts whatsoever inside the club - any inside source rumour is obviously rubbish if they can't even find out the name of the trialist.

It definately wasn't Pires - about 14 years too old.

Actually there are three or four people on here that are very connected to the club in one way or another. Whether they choose to respond to the all too common mundane rubbish on here is another matter, but when they do they're often not far off the mark.

I'd assume it's the same one rather than a new one.

Amazing that nothing has leaked - you've got to assume that it's a well kept secret.

I have heard the trialist is Richard Bingham which would explain the secrecy.

It makes me think that it's going to be quite boring when we eventually find out who it is.

This is the level we've sunk to - we get excited by some random trialist who'll probably never feature in our 1st team let alone every play at Championship level.

According to "Lester Crinklesack" in the comment section of the Reading Post:

'The trialist is French, doesn't speak a word of English and looks quite handy in midfield.

That's all I know BTW. '

Kasim joins Seagulls development squad
Wed, 13 Oct 14:35:30 2010

Brighton have added Yaser Kasim to their development squad on a short-term contract until January.

The 19-year-old former Tottenham midfielder was a regular for Spurs' under-18s and also played for the reserves, shortly after Albion chief Gus Poyet left his role as assistant manager to Juande Ramos at White Hart Lane.

Kasim has linked up with Albion following a brief spell at Crystal Palace and will go straight into the squad for the reserve team game against Brentford.

So, where in that article, does it even vaguely relate to/mention Reading? It says Crystal Palace who, if memory serves me correctly, AREN'T us.

Nassim Boukhelifa

Are you sure? The same one that Man City and Newcastle are interested in (allegedly)?
