"Hodgson will also feel that he could get the 28-year-old, who is the younger brother of Wolves winger Stephen Hunt, for less than a proven Premier League goalscorer."

I'd have to say that Hodgson would be right to feel that way.

Even though it seems ludicrous and I don't believe it's true, Long and Hunt did make a great partnership while it hasn't really worked out with Odemwingie and long so far so there is a bit of logic.

I'd bring Cox back, like a shot, and put him in the Siggy role personally. Then Le Fondre might get some service and this new kid could start in place of Church and we'll see how we get on for a couple of games.

This would be an amazing bit of business and could explain why we've bought Sheppard at the same time.

Hunt out and one of the QPR lads in for the rest of the season and we'd have had a right result.

He's on the Darren Anderton "family tree" somewhere...anyone buying him is taking a gamble ...will have equal luck with Kieron Dyer

I quite like Noel but a definite deal if we got Cox back in return.
