RUMOUR - Scott Dann

by Barry the bird boggler » 11 Jul 2012 15:33

And so the rumours and speculation continue, latest name we're supposedly after is Blackburn's Scott Dann...

From the Click Lancashire website....

According to reports Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Dann is wanted by Premier League clubs.

The Sun claims top-flight new-boys Southampton and Reading are monitoring the centre-back.

The 25-year-old defender is understood to be keen on a return to England’s elite following Rovers' relegation last season.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he completely toilet last season?

No thanks... I'd rather we had signed Darren Caskey's son

Remember how well-rated his partnership with Roger Johnson was at St. Andrews but both of them seemed to struggle last season.

If they were so good then Blackburn wouldn't have been relegated

Can't have been that great - they got relegated. Then they both went to different clubs and got relegated again.

Not sure either would be worth bothering with tbh.

I think it has become apparent that the main reason the partnership worked was because Joe Hart was behind them.

Birmingham's defence wasn't to blame for their relegation, it was their shocking inability to create and finish chances that did for them in the end.
