People on here slating our only class player. In a top 8 side he would have scored 15+ just look at how he did at Fulham! He was played to his strengths there. If we had a gylfi in the middle he would score shed loads

I thought we only had him until the end of this season. Id be more than happy if he was still here next season and tried to help us back up, seems like the sort of guy that wouldnt mind staying in a strange way.

Considering its the world cup next year - i doubt he'll want to be out of the top league/Russia

West ham and Southampton both interested in him, he said nothing will be discussed until end of season

scored 6 in 12 games, 3 in one game? :|
hes good. but to say he is class is a bit much.

As I posted in the who will leave at the end of the season thread, this rumour is a non starter. Just look at the quality Zenit have up front and it's blatently obvious Pog wouldn't get near the team there.

He has three boys ( poglets) and a rather beautiful wife ( another one!). The boys are presumably settled in the uk somewhere now. He might not want to up root them again so soon. If Nigel gets the team playing to his strengths and the wages bill can support him, plus the Anton connection, I don't see why he wouldn't stay another season. I doubt he will be offered better wages elsewhere. it depends how ambitious he is.

TBM Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak, 29, could join Zenit St Petersburg in order to trim the club's wage bill should they be relegated from the Premier League.

No surprise there

wow must have used a hack's brain cell to the limit to think of that non-story - what next mass exodus shock horror at QPR if they get relegated

I don't rate him - slow, cant jump, gets bundled off more easily that his size would suggest - doesn't chase down that much - I think shane long or lukaku (or whatever) are far better

That's sorted then, we'll just fork out £50m for the pair and send Pog off to pack his bags.

Great examples... there is a reason Chelsea payed £7m+ for an 18 y/o, and a reason why he has scored so many in the premier league. But I do agree that Pog hasn't been great for us, at all really. Shown glimpses of quality though.

Try £18m...
