It's something that has kind of passed me by on Facebook, think Samrit (he has no official capacity with the club) put 312 up on an entry or something, and it it prompted a lot of his 'friends' to go 'aaahhhh :?: as if they actually know what he's talking about. Just sighed and scrolled on.

I'd like Andy Williams or tom Bradshaw, would both be fairly cheap.

Pepe the Horseman Wtf is 312? Occasionally see someone mention a "312 rumour" on twitter. What the hell are they talking about?

It's from FB as someone else said. I keep seeing it on the Reading FC Fans group. People posting stuff like "Any news on transfers", and loads reply "312". It's pretty farking stupid:

WoodleyRoyal Vaz Te released by west ham ....

I'm assuming his wages aren't that high as he signed for them when they were in the championship at 28 he's not past it and may be within our means certainly sounds like a gd shout :D :D

Well given he's a free agent you're right his wages probably aren't that high

He'll probably struggle to get a PL club. Maybe Palace are probably the best bet. Would be good for most Championship clubs.

Having been at West Ham and in the PL, I think he'll have to take a big pay cut to come to us still. They weren't exactly cautious with wages and he's bound to have had a big pay rise on promotion, even if he hadn't renegotiated a new contract since getting up there.

I meant the wages he was on at west ham don't be pedantic

I didn't say he would be. I said Palace would probably be his best chance of a Premier League club. Given their lack of strikers they need people in. He's hardly going to be first choice, but for free he's a possibility. That doesn't mean I think they'd necessarily consider him though.

Will be interesting times the next few days, and we should finally see what sort of ambition our "secret society" of ownership are bringing to the table, Samrit's name in bounded around a lot but what connection with the club has he ? some transparancy would be nice to see about who owns what and what their views are about what direction we are going in, apart from the down of the moment.

So we will see do we have Sir John's deep pockets owners, or have we sold out to a dud or duds again ?

Deep pockets or not are just a side show. FFP rules our movements, and if Rosyston's move away has gone sour, there's your ready made excuse right there.
