WoodleyRoyal Sounds like bollocks to me if that were the case they would be bankrupt. How many players are in the tournament? 800k for 4 players so 200 k per player, times that by the number of players you would into the hundreds of millions....

At 200k per player, with 552 players at the tournament, you're looking at £110m

The Daily Telegraph, in 2008, The compensation works out at almost £3,500 per player per day. Uefa will pay clubs £48 million at a rate of £4,350 per player per day at the next Euro tournament, to be played in Poland and Ukraine in 2012.

bluerinse In my original post of 16/8/2015 I said that the club were likely to receive £633640 from UEFA for RFC players who were involved in EURO2016.
It has been announced today that RFC have received a windfall of £1.178.229.36.
This is much better than I anticipated, so will much appreciated, and go a long way in paying for the new arrivals.
